1 iconPestana Golf Resorts - Gramacho Course.
An 18 hole, par 72 course that was originally
designed as a 9 hole course and later extended.
The course uniquely has 27 varied greens, that
allow the player to play the course many times -
facing different challenges each time.
Complimented by scatterings of olive trees, this
is a highly regarded course in the Algarve.

2 iconSalgados Golf Course.
An 18 hole, par 72 course set behind the beach
of Galé. The course is very flat and open to the
elements with many water hazards, so it requires
some technical proficiency to achieve a good
score. A friendly welcome makes this course
highly recommended.

3 iconThe Old Course, Vilamoura.
An 18 hole, par 73 course, the Old Course is the
Algarve's second oldest golf course. Located in
the upmarket resort of Vilamoura, the course
was apparently designed to remind its players of
challenging inland British courses. The holes are
all beautiful, with the first three being easy with
reachable par 4s, the fourth (a par 3) has hole
in one potential. Over the rest of the course
club selection is the key factor, with trees lining
the doglegs and punishing mis-strokes.

4 iconMillennium Course, Vilamoura.
An 18 hole par 72 course that was part of recent
redesign by UK golf architects Hawtree & Sons,
with a view to simplifying its strategy. The course
is a pleasure to play, with few truly tricky
situations, except for possibly the sixth with a
lake to the left of the fairway waiting for mis-hit
balls.
